Smoke haze. A woman in a-- No, wait. Poem- no setting. Think abstract. Think-- Opposites attract. A warm rain on a dark day. What rhymes with day? Way, bay, neigh, sleigh-- a roll in the hay?-- Crap. "Through these three trees freezy breeze blew" No. Cheese trees. Flea trees? Freezy breeze. A freezy breeze on the bay broke through the rain of this dark and lifeless day in which no blood flows! Ugh. Can't I just write prose? Poetry for People Who Want to Write Fiction

A dimly lit bar. Smoke haze. A woman in a–
